Why is it that children’s physical health is so much more important to them than their psychological health?


A five-year-old kid could barely tie his shoelaces, but he knew he has to cover a cut if he scratch his leg, so it doesn’t become infected, and he has to care for his teeth by brushing twice a day. 


We all know how to maintain our physical health and how to practice dental hygiene, right?

We’ve known it since we were five years old.  

But what do we know about maintaining our psychological health? Well, nothing. 

So, the children, what do we teach our children about emotional hygiene?  Nothing. 

How is it that we spend more time taking care of the children’s teeth than we do their minds. 


Our child, actually sustain psychological injuries even more often than they do physical ones, injuries like failure or rejection or loneliness. And they can also get worse if we ignore them, and they can impact our lives in dramatic ways. And yet, even though there are scientifically proven techniques the parents could use to treat their children’s these kinds of psychological injuries, however many parents don’t. 

“Oh, you’re feeling depressed? Just shake it off; it’s all in your head.

“Can you imagine saying that to somebody with a broken leg: “Oh, just walk it off; it’s all in your leg.” 

It is time the parents closed the gap between their children’s physical and our psychological health.

It’s time we made them more equal, more like twins.

That’s why we start this programme.

How can we make proper decisions, if we don’t even know about what to decide?

If you don’t know that Italy exists, you will never travel there.
If you know about Italy, but don’t know that it’s a lovely country, you may have no motivation to travel there, same result.

Knowledge is crucial for all aspects of our life. We accumulate great knowledge about many things, but lack of knowledge and motivation concerning health, the most valuable good we have.
How can we make proper decisions, if we don’t even know about what to decide?
How can we know our limits and understand when we are transgressing the tolerance of our body, if we have no idea how to perceive that?
To ensure a happy, long and healthy life you need to be able to make the right decicions at the right time. You should start to explore and know more about what makes you healthier and vital.
